We were going from shop to shop while we were downtown. We asked them if they had any in stock and not special order. We were looking for some PVC Patio Blinds that were wide enough to span the whole screen window on the back porch. So far we had had no luck. Most every place had to order them that wide for us. They all kept asking if we wanted to split the window into two smaller blinds. they had those sizes in stock and we could take them home right then and there. But we really wanted a single blind to cover the window. So we kept looking.

Since last two weeks I couldn’t go out of my house, as the renovation of my bathroom was going on. I have changed the entire look of my bathroom, as it was quite unattractive and poorly lit. You may be wonder how to go about finding the right shower curtain for your bathroom. I can tell you from experience that finding the right shower curtain can be very difficult. I was quite lucky when I found my latest shower curtain at a flea market. I certainly wasn’t looking for a shower curtain at that flea market, but there it was – my beautiful country shower curtains with giant rubber ducks on it. I certainly never expected to fall in love with such an eccentric shower curtain — in fact, my last shower curtain was a basic white one, and I had loved it, too.

The kids hung the wool penny rugs on their bedroom walls.

My great grandmother is almost one hundred years old. She has a hard time remembering when family members were born. She makes wool penny rugs all the time. When she realizes that it is someone's birthday, she gives them one of the rugs as their birthday gift. I have twin girls. They just had a birthday yesterday. I invited my great grandmother over for dinner, cake, and ice cream. She is no longer able to drive, so my husband picked her up and brought her to our home. She had two of the rugs in hand. The kids hung the rugs on their bedroom walls.

We don’t have to use our furnace in the winter thanks to our wood fireplace inserts.

Our house has several fireplaces. It is an older home, and apparently that is how previous owners heated the home. The latest owner installed a furnace, but we very rarely use it. We love having fires in the fireplace. When we first moved in, the fires weren't enough to heat our home. But, thanks to our new wood fireplace inserts, we no longer have to use the furnace in the winter. The inserts distribute heat around the rooms, and the fireplaces keep the house nice and warm.

I'm sure you've seen both bamboo blinds and flooring. You probably know that bamboo is used to make fountains too. bamboo has many uses, so you may find it in places that you don't expect. Bamboo is found in the kitchen, but not only on the windows. Bamboo steamers are used in preparing Asian food. You may also find bamboo in the bathroom. The floor may be made of bamboo planks, and the windows may be covered with bamboo blinds, but towels are being made of bamboo now too.
