Guys tend to think that the only way you can train to gain strength is with weights. I found out that you can get strength training without weights if you get the right trainer to help you learn how to do it. Often home training starts out to just get you into shape and lose the pounds you have added by not exercising for years. As the training progresses, though, strength training becomes an important part of the training. They strength train in specific areas of your body on a predetermined schedule. Often they will start with the back, because if you have a week back it will throw off all of you other training until you get the strength up in that area.
