I’ve been curious lately about Nursing Home Neglect.
My grandmother had a terrible experience at the first hospice center we placed her at.
In my worst nightmares I never imagined I’d have to deal with Elder Abuse And Neglect, but that’s how it goes.
We’re much more vigilant now, of course, and we have her at a much better place now, so things should be much better.
I’ll post more soon.

When a beloved relative decides it is time to place themselves into an elderly residential care facility many questions arise. A major concern that seems to evolve is that of safety. Because it is a new location, there is a fear that things can go wrong or that the patient will be mistreated. However, it must be remembered that these facilities are both state and industry regulated. These regulations control elderly residential care via licensing applications, annual and other inspections, in-depth industry-based accreditation programs, staff size and training, and even criteria for accepting residents. So, although the area may be new to the patient, there are plenty of guidelines secured in order to provide the best quality care possible.

The time of retirement is not when many of us would like to sit idle at home. Active retirement communities are excellent places to live an active retired life. The Active Retirement Communities in America are all well staffed and give excellent facilities to their inhabitants. You can spend the day at the golf course and spend the evenings over a drink at the clubhouse. The communities are well staffed ensuring that inhabitants do not have to spend their time in doing their daily chores.

In past days, rechargeable hearing aid batteries was only a dream. Due to modern technology, they are a mainstream in the hearing aid field. Some hearing aids go through batteries rather quickly. So, rechargeable batteries are not only convinient, but can save a lot of money over the long term. If you still have disposable batteries, consider trying a rechargeable one. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. Go on, crank up the car and go get one now. :-)
